What's in a name?

'Killer Queen' was named after the Queen song, because of the persona it describes. The name is also an ode to all of Shakespeare's notorious killer-queens throughout his plays. (Looking at you, Lady Macbeth, Queen Margaret and so on).

Here's the pang that pinches....

This blog was created to inspire individuals to maintain a genuine character while standing out amongst the crowd. KILLER QUEEN is about taking style hints from the colorful characters and imaginings we read about in books and experience in movies. Highly informed by the likings of Stephen King, Tim Burton, Wes Anderson and more, each style post will allude to a particular story plot or character, with a sprinkle of Shakespearian sagacity at its close. The literary references will not only tie together the stories and fashions themselves, but reveal a larger meaning and lesson of life.

Because after all, fashion is about the story behind the clothes.

X, A.MARTINE
