JUNE FAVORITES

June! What a fun month you’ve been to kick off summer. Highlights of this month included seeing RHPS—which I couldn’t shut up about for days to weeks after, getting to go to Lilia for a yummy pasta dinner, and going to THREE! different sporting events (well, three if you include the many nights out watching the Knicks!). Perhaps the most sporting events I’ve been to in my life (consecutively), we got to go to a Yankee game (thank you again, Catrice Cosmetics) and then the World Cup! I was actually so invigorated after these games, though I never cared for playing sports myself, I had such a blast witnessing the spirit of the games, especially at Fifa. We saw England V Panama (follow along on the full day here), and the fans and vibes were wild. Let’s just say, there’s a lot more singing in soccer than I ever thought possible, LOL. Onto some favorites of the month now…

FASHION

Amazon Fashion Striped Two Piece Shorts Set— Like, er, many of us. I spend Amazon Prime Day/Week scouring for cute things. I snagged this adorable striped set that’s perfect for lounging on the weekends or great for travel, and will def be wearing it soon on our trip up to the Lake in July. It’s cozy and stretchy, and I love the black and white stripes—I feel like Lindsey 🦋 would say, “it’s giving Beetlejuice Alanna”— and she’d be right! (She liked to poke fun at my more eccentric pieces.)

Princess Polly Landon Mini Dress— I was on the hunt for a light, airy butter yellow dress for the Lake, and I stumbled upon this cutie eyelet-ish piece from PP. It’s really flattering, super lightweight, and I’ll definitely be pairing it with strappy heels and a shoulder bag when we head up.

SHOES + ACCESSORIES

Amazon Fashion Raffia Platform Sandals — I don’t give these sandals enough cred, and I’m trying to wear them more this year ! They’re cute and match with everything (including shorts, dresses, skirts), and don’t bite up your feet too badly, though I recco wearing a bandaid or two under the middle strap. Otherwise they make it feel like you’re floating on air (remember Floaties?) so I’m a fan.

White + Gold Flower Clip from RPLZ (similar here)— I just had to include this cute flower clip cause I’ll be reaching for it a good amount over the next few months. It’s easy to clip up a pony with it or decorate a half-up half down—and the gold adds such a nice touch of elegance.
