POLKA DOTS FT. SHOWPO

ICYMI, I’m just a little obsessed with polka dots these days. I really exercised the trend on our recent trip up to Lake George. This night we headed out to LGV and visited the town’s House of Frankensteein, which, believe it or not, in all my twenty-something trips up to the lake, I’ve never been. And I’ll probably never go back, actually. It was definitely a true house of horrors, with jump scares and really dark corridors. I was definitely impressed by how scary it was (even Sean jumped a bit, lol). It takes you through pretty much any horror scene you can imagine, from old-school séances to Night of the Living Dead; Phantom of the Opera; Freddie Kruger; Jason Voorhess—you name it. Looking back I actually would have loved it if it were more of a true Museum rather than a horror house (lol), and I definitely left actually feeling a little freaked out. At least my happy-go-lucky polka-dot look kept me grounded 🤣.

This chocolate polka dot set is from Show Po* gifted*— and it’s now probably one of the cutest summer sets I have in my collection. I paired it with my Fendi Zucca Baguette to dress it up a bit (but still keep it light and summery in the beige fabric), and light brown kitten heel flip-flops. Moral of the story: if you’re going to a haunted house, wear some polka dots to keep you cheery lol. A spooky Shakes quote to wrap this up….
