AUGUST FAVORITES

August! You were a good one. Summer went by pretty quickly since July, but I’m excited to head into my favorite season, a.k.a. fall. This August though, we got to do some fun things—including seeing Rocky Horror for a second time (sorry, not sorry) and finally dining at I Cavallini. I made a few purchases this month for an exciting trip to come (hehe), and got to enjoy the last few dog days of summer with a trip to the beach (where Sean promptly sliced his foot open on a rock, lol-he’s fine). Without further ado, here are some faves from the month.

Princess Polly Quinbie Lace Short Sleeve Top — This lacey cream colored top has been on my wishlist for a while! I have a similar style in black also from PP, but I wanted something a little lighter and brighter. I love how scrunchy the material is—it’s really form-fitting and flattering, and I can’t wait to style it with some baggy jeans or a mini skirt. Obsessed!

Amazon Fashion Brown Polka Dot Maxi Dress — This cutie maxi dress is going to be perfect for fall into winter—and I can already see myself styling it with a leather jacket or baggy sweater. It has a really pretty lace V-neck style too and I love how stretchy and comfy the material is!

Floral Embroidery Scarf— This pretty scarf has been on my wishlist for a while, so I finally picked it up earlier this month. Obsessed with the sheer material—it will look cute styled on the head or wrapped around the waist. It has a vintage quality about it too, which is just super cute.

Amazon Fashion Mesh Ballet Flats — This cute pair of flats has become a go-to for me for everyday. They’re comfortable to wear (no blisters in sight) and look chic paired with baggy jeans. I’m usually not a flats girl—so the fact that I like these so much is impressive, to say the least.

Target Glass Pumpkin — Yes, I am one of those people who put out my pumpkin decor in August! And I’m not sorry about it! I love this chocolate brown design, it catches the light so nicely and looks really pretty on our TV stand. Plus, there’s a hole on the bottom for you to put a tea light candle in it if you want.
