I'll start off this post by saying — if you haven't finished Stranger Things – STOP READING. JK, I'm really not going to spoil anything besides Eleven's new badass look, obviously, which is where I got major inspo from for this post. Needless to say, badass season two Eleven is my spirit animal of all spirit animals, and I'll be taking fashion hints from her signature look all season long this fall into winter. Plus, I can rant about this for hours, but I'm pretty sure I liked season two of ST much more than season one. I think this season really made the characters even more lovable than they already are — if that's somehow possible. And I also was near tears when they played 'Every Breath You Take,' by The Police in the last scene. ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS, OF ALL TIME.

To capture her look, you simply can't go without a long black duster coat. I picked this one up ages ago at Forever 21, and you can find a similar one here. Another key addition to her badass look is a great turtleneck — so I paired it with this great H&M sweater find that not only compliments a ton of different pieces — it's also comfortable AF. Finally, it wouldn't be a true 80's inspired look without some killer combat boots — so I naturally added my favorite black matte Docs to the mix (I literally wear these religiously during this time of year). I went with some dainty jewelry to add a little feminine flair, so I opted for this adorable Evil Eye stud set by Sophie Harper, and these pretty gold hoops I got in a recent Rocksbox I've been loving. I leave you with this as I will always believe Eleven has a bit of a Cordelia complex (which, IMO, is the best complex anyone could have):

"I am sure, my love's more richer than my tongue."

PS, With my new addition of lifestyley imagery, I'll be including some food or drink photos in each style post. During this shoot day, Avery + I headed to Danny Myer's new casual East Village pizzeria, Martina. We munched on the four cheese and kale pizzas, and sipped on some prosecco and wine — simply the perfect Monday evening meal.
