One year. One year it's been since I had planned to post Christmas looks inspired by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present + Future. And I never got the chance to — here's a look back at why. I lost an angel near and dear to me, but it's with this loss that gave me the strength to bounce back more than ever and to never lose Christmas and everything it entails. This post goes out to my ghost of Christmas past — channeling everything I've been through, I wanted to play with a lot of layers here. I also wanted to play off the idea of rebirth and resurgence — a celebration of pushing through everything that stood in my way. Here's what I came up with.

I started with this really cute embroidered top from Forever 21 (similar here) (you read that right, FOREVER 21!). I'll be honest, I haven't shopped there in ages, but after peeking in their Soho story a couple of weeks ago and finding a couple of cute things, I might be heading back. I paired this with a killer Levi's jacket I scored on Black Friday, and a pair of dark denim ripped jeans. To finish off the look, I added my black Zara booties and my usual Ray Bans.
