DECEMBER FAVORITES

Twenty-seventeen flew by in the blink of an eye for me — and it truly has been a year that's changed my life and perspective in many ways. Like I said in this article, this past year out of school has taught me that the important things matter the most: your health, your family, your friends. For me, I experienced the lowest of lows in 2017, and the highest of the highs. And somehow, I got through it all — I'm still standing, and ready to kick 2018's ass. Without further ado, here are my last monthly favorites of 2017 to close out the year —

Miss Selfridge Metallic Wrap Top - This was one of my Christmas gifts this year — and at first, I'll be honest, I wasn't totally in love until I tried it on. I love this crop because it's actually a lot more versatile than it appears — it can tie in the front or the back, and it can be worn off the shoulders or on them. It's perfect to jazz up a night out look — and is even doable for a cute new years look. 10/10.

Capulet Flight Patent Leather Jacket - Honestly, I'm biased because of the name of this jacket (LOL) but it's one of my favorite gifts I got this year for Christmas. It's warm, super stylin', and makes me feel like I'm in a magazine editorial when I wear it. Definitely my new staple coat and I have not been able to stop wearing it.

SLATE Hazel Interlocking Hoops – I got these babies in my latest December Rocksbox, and I was obsessed since I laid my eyes on them. They're definitely the staple earring that I knew I'd love in my collection — and while they're a tad heavy, the hoop style is so worth it. 

Your Typical Diamond Choker From Chinatown – I recently got this baby but I wanted to throw it into my favorites because it'll be the choker I'm wearing this NYE! Of course it wouldn't be a true New York NYE purchase if I didn't get it in Chinatown — and I love it's width, style, and price ($9!)

Rag & Bone Zip Card Case – Another gorgeous Christmas gift from my lovely cousin Joanna (who happens to be a stylist at RB!) — this card case is becoming my new go-to wallet. I love that it's crocodile stamped and lowkey matches my new patent leather jacket. OBSESSED. 

M of WG Candle in Rose + Agarwood – I also got this luxe candle from Miss Lindz this Christmas, and I have been burning it everyday since. It's musty but still feminine, matches my room and desk impeccably, and I will probably repurchase it. 

And finally, I end 2017 on this blog with this quote:
