I've been uber-inspired by my surroundings lately: particularly the killer weekend I had at Popsugar Play/Ground. Complete with an adult-approved ball pit, this shopping/lifestyle/and all things badass festival was definitely really revitalizing — reminding me that taking charge of your life and experiences is oh so important. Who's another gal we know learned this lesson? Ariel from the Little Mermaid, of course, so it was only apropos that I sported this tee from My Oh My Supply Co. to really prove my point (if you're a Disney connoisseur, you'll know that this quote is referring to the part where Miss Ariel claps back at her daddy, King Triton — how cute!)

I paired this top with a gingham skirt I picked up at while ago at Brandy Melville, and of course since I was playgroundin' it up, I had to throw on my white Adidas. Shout out for Lindsey doing the best hair for this shoot as well. Finally, I finished off the look with a vintage Gucci purse, crystal choker and my signature Ray Bans.

In the words of another badass female, Miss Portia of Merchant of Venice, I leave you with this:

"The quality of mercy is not strain'd, It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven

Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest: It blesseth him that gives and him that takes."
