FEBRUARY FAVORITES

February is always a quick turnaround. Between NYFW (which I only participated in a record ONE event this year to keep my mental sanity), a lil trip to the Catskills, and a lot of planning for the year ahead, it went by in a blink. I had a blast skiing (on the bunny hill) for a couple days upstate with Sean, and really enjoyed Altuzarra’s backstage. Check out my reel on places to visit in Hunter/Hudson NY here, and my lil NYFW backstage recap here. Below, you’ll find some favorites from this month, plus pics from my long weekend trip!

FASHION

My Oh My Supply Co More Magic SweatshirtAs explained in this IG post, this was the first design created without Lindsey at My Oh My, a catharsis for Ali and the team. This really touched me because I think the design is a perfect representation and reminder of her, not to mention, it perfectly fits her aesthetic. For that, I had to have it, and can’t wait to see what other releases will come in her honor 🦋🤍.

ASOS Bershka Faux Leather Straight Leg PantsI was in search for some brown leather pants, but was picky about the shade of brown (I know, psycho I am) and the price point. This hue was totally perfect, and I love how they fit snug around the waist. The only thing I will say is that they can appear a little baggy when sitting down (I think my petite frame is to blame for this), but they’re a great option of you’re looking for something similar but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on the Aritzia leather pants (#sorrynotsorry).

accessories

Pearl Drop Earrings by the BONBONWHIMS Club * gifted * — Ok so these earrings were gifted to me from the lovely ladies at INNBEAUTY Project, and I’m adding them here because they are totally NOT something I would normally buy, but I LOVE them! The pearl stars are so delicate and suit my style, while the neon pink ring has a nice refreshing out-of-my-comfort zone touch. Love love these, and can’t wait to rock them in warmer weather too.

Sherpa Cozy Headband from EtsyAs we know by now, I can’t stop with the sherpa/boucle whatever you want to call it trend. I have a jacket, Converse and now HEADBAND in the style. It’s just so cozy and fun. I love love this headband I picked up in cream shade. I might just get the brown, too.

Moon Boots Black Shell and Faux LeatherOk so hear me out, I have had major issues with snow boots in the past. It’s never been something I’ve invested in, or shopped around for, so I’ve always ended up ordering a pair on Amazon to use for snow or my ski trips. This worked well, until last year, my boots from Amazon literally fell apart. I’m talking, fur came off, exterior peeling, the whole thing. I realized it was probably time, this year, to invest in a pair that I’d have for a long time to not worry about this happening. And so, I caved and got the Moon Boot. But let me tell you, they live up to the hype. Not only are they super comfy for your feet post-skiing, they’re totally waterproof and my favorite favorite part — they’re so easy to clean. Honestly my best winter purchase thusfar this season and I can’t wait to use them for seasons to come.

HOME DECOR

Black Koi Fish Candle Holders — While we were up in the Catskills, we stopped at Tannersville Antiques. Highly recommend to check it out if you’re up there — it was honestly one of the best antique stores I’ve been to in the New York area. I saw these stunning black candle holders and well, I knew I had to have them. They were $75 for both, but very worth it due to how heavy and detailed they are. Can’t wait to (fingers crossed) style these on an actual table someday ;)
