APRIL FAVORITES

New digs, who this? Yes, yes this month was a big one, as I moved out of my studio apartment. I can’t believe it either, y’all. Truly, it was a huge undertaking in just a few weeks (I have an excessive amount of unnecessary stuff), but I’m happy to say I’m settled in my new place and have already started decorating with my new pieces of furniture, some new home accessories that I’ll get to later in this post and oh yeah did I mention my new roomie…. Sean. It was really exciting to get to move in together after the past four years and I’m stoked to start a new chapter with him here.

Needless to say, the next couple of favorites posts will likely be VERY home-decor heavy. I’m excited to share links to all the new fun decor stuff and furniture I’ve gotten, so without further ado, let’s get into it, shall we?

fashion

Y2k Patchwork Crochet Top from Amazon Fashion — Well, I guess I do have a * few * fashion faves. Guys, when I tell you that I keep seeing this top all over IG, I ain’t lying. And their marketing campaign surely worked bc here I am post-purchase. I actually really love the look of this top, and it’s perfect to pair with all different types of bottoms from denim shorts, to long pants and even a mini skirt would do.

Vintage Italian Scarf This month I did a lot of wardrobe purging, and found a lot of pieces I haven’t worn much, like this vintage Italian scarf from my grandmother. You best bet I’ll be tying it into a kerchief tube top as soon as the weather allows!

home decor

Match Cloche from AmazonWhile most of my home accessories were simply moved from my studio, I got a couple new trinkets here and there. One of which is this amazing match cloche from Amazon. Not only does it make for a nice table/ tv stand accessory, it’s super functional and I love that I’ll always be able to refill it. Honorable mention: Wonderland by Annie Leibovitz was an excellent housewarming gift from Amanda!

Haitral Industrial Desk Lamp — This super fun, kind of masculine lamp was exactly what I was looking for for our nightstands. I paired it with a vintage bulb that looks simply gorgeous when lit at night. I love its shape and the fact that it’s a nice mix of both Sean and my styles.

Latitude Run 28” Wide Barrel Chairs — If I had a penny for how many of you guys reached out to me about these chairs! They are just as amazing IRL as they look in photos. I wanted something to divide our living and dining areas and these were just perfect! They also stunningly complement our modern couch (more pics to come of that!) and they are as soft as they look.

Sand & Stable Prudhoe 6 Drawer Dresser — This amazing dresser was such a perfect find. Throughout the apartment, I wanted to play with not only light and dark contrasts, but traditional and modern textures. One of those textures you’ll see throughout is a classic rattan and a more mod bamboo rattan like this. It’s a nice marriage of masculine and feminine and I think it really elevates the whole space.

“Let me be that I am, and seek not to alter me.”

More to come! xx
