JULY FAVORITES

This past month was probably my favorite out of 2022 so far — we spent a lot of time doing what we love: eating and drinking — and even got to spend almost a week in Quebec City. It’s such a cool spot, filled with tiny streets and hills, European architecture and incredible food. Would highly recommend for a long weekend or week trip — there’s a lot of history there, the people are amazing and the aperol spritz’ are endless. Check out my recommendations and recap here. Now sharing: everything I’ve been loving this month!

FASHION

Abercrombie & Fitch Towel Terry Crew Tee & Dolphin Hem Shorts — Wanted to absolutely share this set from Abercrombie that was perfect for our plane rides to and from Canada. I also love this set generally for working from home — it’s lightweight, breathable and super comfy. This is the second set of Dolphin Hem shorts I’ve gotten from A&F this year, and I’m obsessed.

Accessories + SHOES

Amazon Fashion Leather Western Belts — I’ve never really been a belt girl, but I'm looking to take a step out of my comfort zone by rocking some. I found this cute set on Amazon that’s super versatile, can be paired with a skirt or shorts, or even some baggy jeans.

Steve Madden Lafayette Heeled Sandal in CognacStrappy heels are always in style IMO, and I was looking for a pair with a warm hue that could pop if I wear neutral jeans or a neutral dress. I found these on none other than Prime Day, and I’m thrilled I did! They’re a lot more comfortable than they look (I swear) and add a nice shiny touch to any look.

Amazon Fashion Black Satin Bow — I left bows behind for a very long time (ahem, my all girls Catholic school upbringing gave me an aversion to them for a while), but they’re slowly coming back in style and I love this little clip that was just $6! Easy to tack onto a pony or a half-up half-down style, I love adding this to my hair for a girly touch.

Amazon Fashion Crossbody Bag — Amazon Prime Day really got me this month y’all. I saw this night-out bag and just had to have it — you can wear it as a shoulder bag or a long bag with the silver chain link. So so cute.

HOME

West Elm Pontes Desk — After two years, I finally have a real WFH desk! We got this baby because (spoiler alert!), Sean starts an MBA program this Fall, so both of us will be at home working more and it will be nice to have an extra space (besides the couch, or our dining room table!) We splurged on this one because it had just about everything we wanted: dark wood, storage for files and the perfect size. 10/10 recommend!

Closing out this month with one of my favorite Sonnet quotes:

“O, learn to read what silent love hath writ: To hear with eyes belongs to love's fine wit”
