AUGUST FAVORITES

What a stellar month it’s been — between visiting Montréal for the very first time to hanging out in the Adirondacks for a few days (aka visiting my favorite place Lake George), it was a time of recharging and relaxation. This was my first week back in the city and I feel certainly renewed and ready for Fall (& NYFW!!!). Here, I’m sharing some of my recent favorite fashion purchases, a little homage to Canada gift and some tips on packing feat. a cute Amazon purchase. Keep reading for more!

Amazon Fashion Brown Satin Set — One of the more useful pieces I brought along my trip — this Amazon Fashion brown satin set. I actually wore them separate (paired the top with baggy white jeans and the skirt with a flower halter top), but am excited to wear them together in these last few weeks of summer. I also think it could be fun to layer a turtleneck under the top or pair the skirt with a graphic tee or chunky sweater as we get into the Fall months.

Giuseppe Zanotti Second Hand Brown Mules — So I recently picked these up for Fall at 2nd Street USA on the UES. It was the first time I’d ever been to the store and I was totally enamored by the selection and quality. I eyed these slightly scuffed mules and was obsessed — snagged them for only $79! Brown pointy suede mules seem to be the in thing — also eyeing these TBH, so I’m pumped to have hopped on the trend.

miscellaneous

Maple Syrup Candle — I had to include this sweet maple syrup candle we picked up in Montréal — there were soooo many cool things we got to see and places we experienced, but probably the best was of course the food, the wine, and the homemade goods like this. Obsessed with the smell of it and can’t wait to burn it when the weather gets colder — it’ll instantly make the apartment so cozy!

Amazon Washbag Toiletry Travel Case — Probably the best part about this trip was not having restrictions on the skincare and makeup I brought because we drove! This huge toiletry case that I scored on Amazon for Prime Day did just the trick in carrying some full sized product I brought along.

With summer coming to a close, leaving you with a Shakes quote about the season —

“O, how shall summer's honey breath hold out against the wreckful siege of battering days,

When rocks impregnable are not so stout, Nor gates of steel so strong, but Time decays?”
