APRIL FAVORITES

Ahhhh. April. You flew by. What a weird time. This past month’s favorites are late for a couple reasons. The first being that I moved! This past weekend I finally moved into my brand new UES studio apartment I’ve dreamed of having for a few years now. It’s a very bizarre thing to move during a global pandemic, and I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure if I should wait it out a bit longer. I decided not to though, because having literally nothing to do is getting tiring — so this move was a great way for me to put my energy toward something different + exciting this month. I’m so excited to fully move in (I’m still going back and forth from Sean’s because I have no wifi or couch), and celebrate this new beginning during such a unequivocal time. In keeping with the quarantine/not-staying-in-my-home-yet theme, these are the products/items I’ve been reaching for the most while at the boyfriend’s.

Ruby Sew Cute Masks — This month, I helped out a family friend on her project to sell and ship out masks to people in the Westchester, NY / Stamford, CT area. The shop, Ruby Sew Cute, is aptly named after her very cute dog, Ruby, and is selling CDC-compliant cotton face masks. I certainly wanted to include them in my favorites this month because they’re cute and comfortable, not to mention, for every mask sold, one is donated to a local hospital. Definitely check them out here!

Missguided White Biker Shorts — Lounging at home these past few months has made me fall in love with biker shorts hard. These white biker shorts were under $10 (a steal) and I’ve been wearing them non-stop. I got a ribbed pair in black, too!

PSSSSST Dry Shampoo — It’s no surprise that I’ve been living on dry shampoo while at Sean’s, and this one has been my total go-to. It smells great, is super refreshing and I use it every morning to make me feel (and look) more alive.

Finishing Touch Flawless Nu Razor — Another ABSOLUTE lifesaver, this razor has been with me everyday quarantining at Sean’s. I love it because you don’t need a drop of water to shave (just a dry leg), and it takes very little time.

Linhart Toothpaste — I’m certainly not one to rave about toothpaste, but I am loving this formula by Linhart. It’s not overly minty (I am VERY picky about toothpaste tastes), foams really nicely and gives you that satisfying tingling feeling. I have also been testing out the Whitener Gel and the SPF 15 Lip Balm and I loooooooove.

To wrap up, my last favorite of this month is my new bathroom!!!!! More pics to come, obviously, as the whole place is only three days old in my possession, but I’m super pumped to have a little oasis for myself to relax and do some skin-care rituals in. This has been a really rough month for everyone, so just a reminder from me to breathe, do things that make you happy (safely!) and take it easy.
