NOVEMBER FAVORITES

November flew by this year, and it’s finally under 40 in NYC (lol, did you read my last post when I was complaining about the weather being too hot?!). This month we had some good eves with friends, I had some busy (and long! but fun!) work days and a great Thanksgiving holiday with the fam. If holidays are tough for you, know that I feel this — I’ve struggled since my grandfather’s passing to truly embrace and enjoy the holidays every year TBH, (it was cause he loved them so much, and having them without him, is, well, sort of sad). My best advice (or what I keep telling myself, anyway) is to seize the day and make the most of it. Traditions might come and go but take them as opportunity to surround yourself with the closest people. It’ll be worth it, even if it doesn’t seem that way. On a lighter note, here’s all I’m loving this month.

Amazon Fashion Brown Cropped Puffer Vest — I’ll be the first to admit that I am NOT a vest person. Like very rarely in my life have I even worn a vest, and if I have it was either a) during my horrible middle school Tumblr/Avril Lavigne phase or b) on stage. I however have been constantly bombarded with fashion inspo on IG featuring cute little cropped vests like this one, so I finally gave in and purchased one. SPOILER ALERT: It lives up to the hype. Will I be wearing a sweater vest anytime soon? Probably not. For now, this little outdoor puffer is the closest I’ll get!

Amazon Fashion Leg Warmers — I am not entirely sure why these are called ‘costume’ accessories as I intend to absolutely wear them IRL, but let’s just say I’m fully into the leg-warmer movement and the fact that its coming back. Can’t wait to rock these in the colder weather and may or may not have bought them to match the platform Uggs I bought that may be on backorder. Sorry not sorry!

Mod & Jo Old English Pendant NecklaceI actually completely forgot I never included this baby into a recent monthly faves, so I popped it in here when I realized! I asked for this from Sean for my birthday (and he delivered, obviously!!) and I’m so thrilled I did. The pendant is super cute: easy to layer with other, shorter necklaces, and catches the light beautifully. The old english style is obviously a nod to my love for Shakespeare and generally, is just super cute!

Stoney Clover x Juicy Couture Large Travel Pouch * gifted *This month, I got the opportunity to go to the launch party for the Stoney Clover x Juicy Couture collection, and boy was my middle school self SCREAMING! I was pretty much obsessed with Juicy back in the day (I mean, who wasn’t), so it was super nostalgic to see them collabing with another cool brand. I was gifted the large travel pouch which is super pretty: brown velvet and acrylic plastic with the iconic logo, and I can’t wait to bring it on my next travel endeavor.

Etsy Pampas Grass Wreath — This exact wreath is no longer avail, but I have to give a shout-out to it because it’s one of my favorite Christmas decor pieces I’ve ever bought. It instantly warms up a space and is super festive without being too colorful or tacky. I’m obsessed!

Leaving you with one of my favorite Shakes quotes to get us alllll into the holiday spirit so to say 😉

“If all the year were playing holidays; To sport would be as tedious as to work.”

To December!
