TIFF FEAT. NASTY GAL

You’ve heard this before — no sequel is ever good as the original. No spin off, really is ever as good as an O.G either. But if you’re a slasher fan, you have to admit that Bride of Chucky comes pretty close to debunking this theory. Obviously it’s not actually as good as the original, but there’s something about Tiff’s character that I’ve always loved — her tenacity, her comedy, her absolute vileness. It’s just so fun to watch. I also am so into her style, of course, which is why I decided to channel her in this recent weekend look.

I started with this ruched mesh turtleneck from Free People that I’m so obsessed with, I just got it in another color. I like that it’s super flattering and can be paired with pretty much anything — but to channel my inner Tiff I of course had to pair it with a mini black leather skirt. This one is super old from Missguided, but linking a similar one here. Finally, I wrapped the look up with two elements that pretty much scream Tiff’s style — lacey stockings and a red fur coat from Nasty Gal (linking the black version here!) I think Tiff would totally approve… and it has me thinking that maybe I’ll dress up as her for a future Halloween look ;)

Leaving you with a spooky quote to close out this Halloweeny post —

“Damnèd spirits all, That in crossways and floods have burial, Already to their wormy beds are gone, For fear lest day should look their shames upon.”
