JANUARY FAVORITES

I cannot believe how quickly this month flew — considering I always find January to be a month that drags on. I’ve been working on few fun projects this month, and have really taken the time to relax and reflect on 2023. This month was also full of lots of home-cooked meals thanks to the fact that Sean has been on break from school, plus lots of hangs with friends, new and old. Here, I’m sharing my favorites of the month, many being some more Christmas gifts that I’ve finally got the chance to enjoy!

FASHION

Victoria’s Secret Ribbed Velour Pull Over Hoodie — You know when you’re cleaning out your desk drawers and you find a gift card (from like three years ago) that you never used? This is what happened to me earlier in the month, and I scored a $50 VS gift card that had been sitting unspent. I took the opp to spend it, and of course re-upped on the 5 for $30 underwear deal, plus this lovely hoodie! It’s super cozy and kind of gives me early 2000s vibes — would look cute paired with jeans or black flare yoga pants!

Gap x LoveShackFancy High Rise Floral ‘70s Jeans Okay, I have my friend Sammie to thank for these because she wore them out to a dinner with us early in January and I immediately went home and purchased! They are super fun and I’m kind of obsessed with everything they’re about: the fit, cut and print. Can’t wait to style these into the Spring!

ACCESSORIES

Emi Jay Bow Clip in Fireside & Big Effing Clip in Toasted A lovely Christmas gift from Amanda, these clips are such cuties! I’ve had my eye on Emi Jay clips for a while and hadn’t pulled the trigger yet, so I love that she got these for me! They’re perfect for my signature half up half down, or for putting all of my hair up of course. Can’t wait to style them all year long!

Urban Outfitters Pearl Bow EarringsAnother cutie Christmas gift from my friend Kat, these pretty little bow earrings are so fun! Love that they can dress up any casual look (think: flared jeans and a black turtleneck), or they can also add an elegant touch to a dressier outfit. Obsessed!

MISCELLENEOUS

Little Book of Yves Saint LaurentLove this Christmas gift from my parents — this is the second book of the series they’ve gotten me (I also have the Little Book of Gucci). These make for a super cute decor piece on a bookshelf or coffee table, and are even better when you pick them up and flip through!

Leaving you with a little Shakespeare positivity to carry with you:
