AUG-TOBER FEAT. PRINCESS POLLY

Maybe I’ve just stumbled across it this year, but the concept of Aug-tober is kind of my new favorite thing. It’s sort of the idea that as soon as July is over, you can immediately start celebrating spooky SZN, and if you know me, you know that’s been my motto of style for years. August is such a cool month to me because you can start incorporating fall shapes and colors into your summer wardrobe, which is exactly what I was going for with this look.

I started with a corset I got on Amazon ages ago (similar here). It’s kind of falling apart (lol) but I honestly haven’t been able to find anything super similar so I’ve continued to keep it in rotation in my summer/fall closet. You can dress it down with some ripped jeans or pair it with a long maxi skirt like I did here. Speaking of, I’m obsessed with this Princess Polly Leopard Maxi— it’s seriously perfect for any time of year (pair it with a spaghetti strap or strapless tube top in the summer, or a chunky, oversized sweater and boots for the winter). It’s giving fall without being too intense, and I love how it paired with this top. Next, I opted for some strappy sandals, these cutie Jeffrey Campbell Leeda Ankle Strap shoes, my usual oval sunnies, and this cute metallic Aldo bag (similar here). I wrapped it all up with some fun jewelery and this Emi Jay clip I love!
