AUGUST FAVORITES

August! You were both super long and super short, somehow. This month was a busy one, though I did get to lay low on a couple of weekends (and filmed one of the first ‘day in my lifes’ I’ve done in quite some time). I got to finally check out the Corner Store, saw some amazing shows (cough, Hadestown and Mamma Mia), and bopped around to various events and dinners. This month was a good one because we also got a little taste of fall in NYC on some cooler days. Without further ado, here are some of my favorite purchases / gifts / things of the month.

FASHION

Cider Halter Neckline Polka Dot Drawstring Mini DressOne of my fave purchases this month definitely has to be this polka dot dress. It has a pretty halter neckline and will look super cute paired with a brown shoulder bag, IMO. I picked this one up for a trip we have coming up in September, and let’s just say, I think it’ll go with the vibes of our destination! (hehe)

Rag & Bone Andi Ankle Leg Jeans — This past month we got to take a lil trip upstate to Woodbury Commons, where I haven’t been in ages! These outlets have a slew of designer spots, and I was especially excited to visit the Rag & Bone there. I picked up these cutie jeans on major discount (I actually got them for like $98!), and I can’t wait to style them into the fall with black boots and a leather jacket.

ACCESSORIES

Luv Lou The Delilah Sunglasses * gifted * These pretty glasses were gifted to me this month from Luv Lou. I’m obsessed with the brown lenses and thin gold frames. They pair well with just about anything (distressed denim, patterned dresses, you name it) and add a touch of sparkle. The vintage vibes are just perfect!

Maison Fou Fou Guendalina Ocean O'Clock Vintage Watch Golden Choker NecklaceOk, call me crazy but I was totally sold on this necklace from an IG ad. The vintage watch in a necklace style is super unique, and the quality is pretty solid for $30. Can’t wait to wear this on my upcoming trip and beyond!

Miscelleneous

iWalk Portable Charger — So this is going to make you chuckle but I literally have been carrying around a power bank that’s the weight of a small child with me for the past few years. The hefty charger is great for travel, but not so much when I’m just headed downtown to dinner. I finally invested in a much smaller one, and I love it! This one pops right onto your phone so there’s no need for carrying any cords, and holds a pretty great charge. It also fast charges as well and the compact size is perfect for my smaller bags.
