SEPTEMBER FAVORITES
I’ve been a little MIA from the blog this month because we spent 8 amazing days in ITALY! This was my first time back since 2014, and I was so excited to show Sean around some of my favorite cities. Chances are you probably caught me meticulously documenting it on my Instagram, but in case you didn’t, I’m posting three recap videos of each place we visited (Rome, Amalfi, Florence). We had an absolute blast, and I find that every time I do travel, I come back to New York with a new POV, sense of gratitude, and energy to bring some European lifestyle to our own world here in NYC. Whether that’s going to local coffee shops in the morning instead of Starbucks, or meeting up with friends for happy hour after work, we’ve both totally come back here refreshed and excited to romanticize the day-to-day a little bit more. Here, I’m sharing some favorite newness in my closet from this past month to help re-invigorate my style, too, for this new year ahead (did I mention it’s my birthday?!) Without further ado.
fashion
Cider Lace Sweetheart Pleated Twisted Top — One of my favorite purchases this month certainly has to be this cute top from Cider. It has really pretty lace detailing and I love that I can style it on it’s own or paired over a turtleneck when it gets colder out!
Yellow Lace Zara Top (similar here) — I bought this lil number in Zara during my trip (why is it that European Zaras are so much nicer than US Zaras). Love that it can be worn paired with a long skirt (like I did here) or over jeans and a long sleeve top. Can’t wait to style this into Fall and beyond!
ACCESSORIES AND SHOES
RPLZ September Scrunchie Set * gifted * — Many thanks to RPLZ for sending me these cutie scrunchies for fall. I’ve been pairing scrunchies of this size with my signature half up half down style and I think they look so fun and add so much texture to any look.
Sam Edelman Paige Ankle Boot * gifted *— Another sweet gift this month was from Sam Edelman, to celebrate the launch of their new Eau de Parfum (which, btw, is amazing). I got these gorg cowprint boots for Fall that I cannot wait to style with some straight leg jeans or paired with a mini skirt. So so cute — thank you, Sam Edelman!
Firenze Leather Bag (similar here) — If there’s anything that gets me super psyched about visiting Firenze again, it’s got to be the leather markets. They always have super on trend styles, and the enviornment is super energetic and fun (remember you can always bargain down prices). I got this shoulder bag on my trip and am obsessed, it’s a gorgeous, deep brown leather that I can’t wait to pair with chunky sweaters and mesh turtlenecks come winter.
home decor
Target Pumpkin Candle Holders — It’s pumpkin szn, ya’ll! Found these cute tea light covers at Target (they’re currently OOS online). So affordable and they add a nice neutral, yet festive touch!
