OCTOBER FAVORITES

October is absolutely my favorite month (besides September) for a few reasons: one, the sunsets in October are superior. Look outside in the evening hours and tell me I’m wrong. Two, it’s basically Halloween all month, which makes dressing spooky very acceptable (though I like to do it all year round), and three, it’s the one month of the year when I can literally watch a Halloween-themed movie every night, and what’s better than that? This month we got in some good eats, got to celebrate our girl for her birthday 🦋, and did a little shopping damage (thanks, Amazon Prime). Here’s what I’ve been loving this October….

Thirty Thirty LA Brown Maxi Dress (similar here) — This gorgeous dress was a fun find at TJ Maxx this past month, and I found a pretty similar one (same fabric) from Princess Polly, linked here. Obsessed with how luxe it looks compared to how affordable it was: the raised flower decals give a nice amount of texture without being overwhelming, and the fit in general is superior. 10/10 and can’t wait to wear it to a fall event I have coming up!

Cider Lace Bell Sleeve Top — Another fun pick this month, this one actually comes with a little velvet mini dress on top. The combo is perfect for fall/winter vibes, and I love the lace detailing that makes skin peek through just a tad.

Floral Mesh Strappy Heels — From Amazon! Believe it or not. I picked these up for the recent benefit we had for Lindsey 🦋—they are very her-coded. Super comfy too, I didn’t get one blister and wore them for hours.

Beetlejuice Candles – Always a great accessory for this time of year. They instantly add a lil spook to any space!

Tortoise Drinkware — Super cute for hosting, drinking out of, and sitting pretty on your coffee or dinner table. I’ve been eyeing tortoise glasses for a while and finally pulled the trigger this month. Glad I did, they are super cute!

Leaving you with a little Shakes sagacity we all need to be reminded of, sometimes.
